We greatly appreciate individuals, corporations and foundations who support our mission of providing life-changing assistance to individuals who are legally and totally blind so that they can achieve their highest level of personal and economic self-sufficiency, consistent with their specific skills, general abilities and interests.
Teaching a new way to do a familiar task or teaching a new skill particularly tailored for the needs of a sight-impaired person are what our skilled and dedicated staff do. Through rehabilitation and job placement, we offer each sight-impaired individual the opportunity to become a productive citizen and feel proud of their accomplishments. Job placement may be within the business community or at the Lighthouse. All programs and services are provided at no charge to persons who are blind or visually impaired.
As one of the few socially entrepreneurial not-for-profits in the area, we take pride in investing our dollars in programs, services and jobs right here in Tarrant County.
